Happy New Years!
Hope you all had a great holiday season. It was a quiet one for us here in Redlands and adapting to the colder weather since this is our first winter back on the mainland. I know, I know, lots of eye rolls because it does seem laughable, but honestly, when there is no need for a heater in your home and the weather is pretty much 75-80 degrees all year round, anything below 60 degrees takes getting used to. My kids love it despite me always drinking hot tea to stay warm. They love the cooler weather and bundling up in sweaters. It’s probably why I love being able to photograph indoors where the weather is always perfect and the lighting is always spot on!

Anyways, I always wanted to shoot a sorta “Vanity Fair’ type photograph of us and send it out during the New Year. It was a late afternoon set up with backdrop and lighting and all of us bringing out our fancy clothes…. which is far and few between when your daily wardrobe is nothing more than shorts and a tank top, lol. I hope to be offering these “Vanity Fair” type photo shoots soon in my Redlands Studio, I think they are really fun and different.
