We are coming up towards the end of the year! How’s everyone doing? Did you get your family photo shoots in time? Survived Christmas? It’s our first Christmas in Redlands after 8 years in Hawaii and we are experiencing our first winter in a very long time. I used to live in Northern California where my mom and dad still live so in my heart, I can say that I am a Golden State Girl…. but my goodness, this cold winter has been an adjustment!

I like to keep things simple and easy for everyone because I know family photos can be a challenge for a lot of people… but don’t worry! This isn’t my first rodeo!

I’ve been photographing families for the past 10 years and I just love every minute of it. Obviously, I don’t go to the beach as often anymore, but I have beautiful lighting all the time at my indoor studio… and beautiful fresh floral crowns are also available for the gorgeous lady in your life! I’m glad we went with the option because mamma just looks even more radiant with the crowning piece!

This mother was so nervous about her family photoshoot. It was her first session with a professional photographer (that’s me!, lol). She wanted everything to be perfect.. but she did just fine! If you allow for some minor hiccups a long the way and just go with the flow everything will be just fine, I promise! I mean, just look at this shot! Perfect.
