I met with this fun family on their recent vacation to Oahu. They were actually a two families enjoying each others company… totally what I love! Here are some highlights of our sunset photo shoot together.
The kids were so cute… the little brother was squirrely… I don’t blame him, I’d want to get in the water too!
We met on a late afternoon to take advantage of the golden hour sunlight heading into sunset.

So the mamma here confessed to me that they are professional photo shoot takers… they LOVE taking family photos! I was their 27th photoshoot, BUT I was their FIRST SUNSET PHOTOSHOOT!! YAY ME!!
They told me that even though they’ve had many photoshoots with others, they still felt like their photoshoot with me was like they were first timers. I giggled a bit, because I was waiting for seasoned pros, but it was awesome because they followed all my cues perfectly and gave me some great photo moments!
Plus… I shoot all the way up to beyond sunset. I am known for using every bit of available light there is if I have the opportunity…
