I first met this lovely family a couple of years ago right before Christmas when they were visiting Oahu from Japan. The children were a little smaller at the time so it’s nice for me to see the children grow when I do see them again. We met this time at the Moanalua Gardens in Honolulu. A nice well kept park full of huge monkeypod trees…. but for us.. a lot of space for the kids to run around.
It was clear that this family portrait session was going to convert into a lifestyle photo shoot. Sometimes when the kids don’t want to sit, you just have to follow them around and shoot for the moment that’s unfolding in front of you.
Little guy sure was squirrely. 🙂
