Redlands Photographer: Blueberry Cobbler
Quarantine Day 27: How’s everyone doing? We are safe at home and I’m cooking meals every day. The simple act of being in the kitchen, prepping, cooking, cleaning, tidying up brings me a sense of calm and routine. My kids enjoy that I don’t ask them to help out, once in a while I ask them to split the chores to put the dishes away or clean up after dinner, but it’s not everyday. Since I know no one want to do it, the kitchen is cleared out and it gives me a slice of peaceful calm as I’m by myself in that space preparing a meal or cleaning up. I’m totally fine with it.
I had some frozen blueberries in the freezer and decided to make a Blueberry Cobbler. I’ve had this recipe for about a decade and it’s a crowd pleaser and very simple to make. It’s one of my mom’s favorite desserts and she is always excited when I make it for her. It’s best with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
