Redlands Photographer|Ginger and Tangerine Peel Tea
Covid-19 Quarantine Day 22. I’ve absolutely no mojo to take pictures, but decided I’m gonna give it a go as spotty as I may be from day to day. You can follow my posts on Instagram @jennbrotchie as it’s just so much easier to post on IG than to write up a full on blog post… not like I have anything else to do, LOL. So every morning I make myself a ginger and tangerine peel hot tea. Ginger is great for many things especially to help strengthen your digestive system and helps to prevent nausea and heartburn as well as boost your immune system. Tangerine peel also helps soothes an upset stomach and helps with stress and anxiety, YES! Need that!.. all this among many other things. I cut up the ginger in coins and freeze them so they are ready to go. Clementine’s are always good to have on hand to snack on so I keep the peels in a baggie in the fridge and reach for it every morning…. boil with a little sugar or your desired sweetener. After I’ve poured out the boiled water into my cup, I pour more water into the pot so the ginger and tangerine peel don’t dry out and I can make 4 more extra cups of tea throughout the day.
