Kimie contacted me specifically for a sunset photo shoot for her engagement to Kirk. I was honored to say the least. The day finally came and the weather wasn’t looking so great. It had been an overcast, cloudy and sometimes rainy day and we were crossing our fingers that we would be spared. For the most part it was a beautiful late afternoon with overcast clouds… perfect nature’s softbox, ideal conditions for a photo session. Thirty five minutes into our session it started to rain… but we made the most of it and I kept shooting… rain is fun! and it makes us draw closer to each other to shelter each other from the rain. After the rain, there was the most beautiful sunset that I have ever seen at the North Shore… it was full of purples mixed in with orange. I think it was worth the little bit of rain! Here are some of the highlights.
