Smitten Kitten on the North Shore

I met Maleah and Matt a few years ago upon my first visit to Hawaii.. before I ever thought to move here. What struck me is quite evident… they are a good looking couple, but what stayed most with me is their extreme warmth and love and affection for each other. Fast forward to today and I was invited to photograph their family of three with the addition of little keiki Nala, she’s beautiful.

Nala is the sweetest, cutest, brightest, full of personality baby… Ever. (Aside from my own children, of course, 🙂 . I was smitten with this kitten. I really wanted to put her in my pocket and take her home.  I think they call this “the grandma face”…

Maleah and Matt have made the North Shore of Oahu their home and it’s such a fun place to raise their baby. A beautiful family in a beautiful location, what more could a photographer like me dream of… a match made in photographic heaven.

Nala enjoying her daddy…. I don’t think she complained once… she was really a happy baby.. either that or she was just hamming it up for my camera…
