David went on a “business” backpacking slash camping weekend at the beginning of this month. I hemmed and hawed about it for like an hour when he asked me to go purchase some Patron Tequila for the trip. “Oh Really Now? Business Trip, Huh?, Okaaaaay…Um, Yeah….” But I was really griping about him taking some of our camera gear. I hate to part with my beloved lenses, the horror to think that one of them would fall into the lake accidently. Hence, I had to not dwell on the negatives and let them go. I knew they were in good hands and David would come back with some spectacular images of Desolation Wilderness. He was out of cell contact for 3 days… I was home with 3 children… yeah, you figure it out. All was good though and he had a great experience bonding with his office mates. Here are some images that he took and if you have a few minutes, a beautiful slideshow to show off what beautiful treasures California has within….
