Shu contacted me a few days before Christmas last year. He was looking for a great photographer with an eye for connection to capture his surprise proposal with his beloved Khin. Shu really did his research and he chose me to photograph his proposal at sunset. I was more than honored. The day finally came and Khin thought it was going to be a fun photo shoot at Turtle Bay Resort celebrating their 2 year anniversary together. Needless to say, it was a surprise proposal at it’s best. Despite the windy conditions…. Shu and Khin managed to make magic together as sunset drew near… here are some highlights of our photo session together in the North Shore of Oahu…
I love this one. I rarely do black and white images. When I do, the image just screams at me to be black and white and this was one such image… Just gorgeous Khin!! Just Gorgeous…
The North Shore at Turtle Bay Resort has some diverse terrain as I love to use the surrounding trees and greenery as a change in backdrop. Don’t they look spectacular?

So Fabulous Shin and Khin!!! It was just crazy windy on this evening… but I’m really pleased how their images turned out… despite the wind!
