We had a free Sunday and decided to go walk around our Kaka’ako area in Honolulu and check out the murals in the area. This last two weeks, February 8 – 18th has been PowWowHawaii and all the new murals for 2018 were being painted around Kaka’ako… we saw some new ones and some old awesome ones. Here are some highlights of what we saw.
There are some great coffee/tea shops at SALT… just a really cool hip vibe for the urban folks. We started our walk here with some Boba Tea and iced coffee in hand and ventured off on foot. I forgot to put my sunblock on and immediately I started complaining. .. luckily I had my Boba Tea to refresh me.

The murals in the area are surrounded by industrial shops and tourists from all over that pose in front of the murals.
