Disney Aulani Beach Photographer
It was a last minute phone call she made hoping I had an opening in my schedule… and yes, I did! We met on an overcast, sort of muggy day… but no matter, I think this family ROCKED their sunset photo session with me. When they arrived to meet me, about a quarter of the lagoon was quarantined off to let the protected monk seal bask on the beach. Something we had to work around… and glad to say we did! I think it made it a more memorable experience to have the monk seal company, to say the least. Here are some highlights of our extended family sunset photo shoot.
There are a lot of fabulous shots to choose from, I had a hard time narrowing down which ones to showcase on my blog. I always say it’s a good problem to have! What a lovely family portrait!!
These girls were very bright and personable. I really enjoyed them!! Just look how gorgeous they are! I love this connection in my photography. It is what I really strive for in my images.

I have to admit.. this shot was the girls’ idea. So cute!!
In my photo shoots where I have extended family, we break out the time, so that each family has their own family session. Almost like a “mini-session”, but not quite because the whole time we are together, I intermingle people so I get all the shots.
He is so dreamy! 🙂

I think it’s always a nice treat to get mom and dad together. Trust me, after you have kids, photos together of just the two of you are few and far between… unless it’s at arms length with a selfie, but those get old sometimes. Gotta keep it fresh!!
The grandparents also get their own time together!
…and we do it all over again as the sun goes down during my sunset sessions. Gorgeous!
