I first met Noelle and John quite by accident a few years ago. I was in Maui and it was Easter morning. As I was getting ready for the day, I overheard a hurried, frustrated mom trying to get her 5 children in place to take ONE decent picture. I peered out of my hotel lanai and with a little nudging from my husband, I grabbed my camera, went out there and introduced myself and said something to the effect that it was Easter, here is my good deed for the day. .. and with that, I took pictures of all 5 kids, a few of Noelle and her husband and a few of their entire family and sent them the images I took the following week or so. We were done in 10 minutes time and I hope it saved Noelle some inevitable pulling of hairs. Haven’t we all been there before with our kids? I was happy to do that for them. When Noelle let me know that her and John were coming to Oahu, she booked a session with me and we met up on this gorgeous morning. They met on Oahu and it was the first real vacation for them sans kids in about a decade. Here are some highlights from our morning photo shoot together.
Noelle let me know sometime later through FaceBook messages that shortly after their Maui trip, John had cancer and those photos I took were very cherished by her. Happy to say that John beat cancer and we made some beautiful new memories together!
They had just arrived the day before so I am sure with this appointment out of the way, they were going to have a great time of rest, relaxation and connection.
