Happy New Year!

Happy New Years! Thanks for coming by to visit my website and blog. It’s a new year and with it comes resolutions and goal setting. I’m really excited to see what 2014 has in store for me. My photography has afforded me the luxury of meeting so many different people from many walks of life from all over the globe who come to be in front of my camera. Never in my wildest dreams could I ever have imagined this for myself a few short years ago when we decided to move my family from California. Starting my business over seemed like a daunting task, but with perseverance and goal setting, I am really happy to be where I am at. One of the tasks I have set for myself this year is to incorporate film photography into my workflow. I am not sure yet how I will do this nor have I begun to offer it as part of my packages, but it has been fun experimenting and seeing what I have captured when I get my film scans back from the lab. All the images on this post are film shots. I absolutely love them and I’m happy my family are my willing models. Here are some of my practice shots of my family and a few at Haleiwa in the North Shore.
