I had met Rob, oh gosh, maybe a little over 15 years ago. We were both working in the Silicon Valley and I had a project I was managing where he was working. Maybe 4 days worth of interaction on that project. So, imagine my surprise when I received a message on my FaceBook letting me know he was looking for a super awesome photographer on Oahu during his family vacation. Through mutual connections (thanks Cathy!), Rob was able to get in touch with me and we were able to set a photo shoot date. He and his family were staying at the Disney Aulani Resort and we made this photo session happen. Love the outfit coordination! Bravo!
They chose a sunset session, hoping to catch the moon rise as the sun was setting. This would have been great, but the stars did not align for us on this evening. It was just overcast out, no hint of sun at all. But Rob and his family rocked it out, his son and daughter did great, but soon got tuckered out. It happens and you just have to go with it. Grateful to have captured a glimpse of their personalities.
Rob let me know that his best side was his left… so I was happy to oblige! Either way, they both looked so cute together! It’s all about body language and these two had it!
