I was going through my files the other day and came across these gems I took last year. If you visit my blog occasionally, you’ll see that not only do I shoot digital, but I also shoot film. My film work is primarily for my personal memories. I shoot digital for all my professional work. It’s just good practice for me to hone my skills with different types of equipment and it’s very exciting to see what I get. With film, there is NO LCD camera to double check what you’ve just captured. You have to send out your roll of film to get developed.. and it takes about a week to see the results. I was happy with these photos! This little field is in my little town and I drive by it everyday. I dragged my two youngest kids out here to shoot a roll and this is what I got. I love it and I love that they were getting along well. It was an overcast day and I shot with Ektar 100 film on my Mamiya camera.
