Ruth called me a few days before we met… this was literally a spur of the moment session and I’m glad our schedules clicked. Her children are lively and fun, full of personality. We met at KoOlina and lucky for us, there was a basking monk seal that closed off the area where I usually shoot. It’s nice to mix it up a bit and I am very happy that Ruth and her family were game for anything and we had this opportunity while they were on vacation. Here are some highlights of our morning (overcast) photo session together.
We were able to squeak into this little area.. to camera right, there are ropes that guarded the sleeping seal.. but no matter… we got these beautiful shots, nonetheless.
When the tide is low, I like to venture out to this beautiful water table. I don’t know what to call it, but that’s what I call it, a “water table”. I think it’s a gorgeous area with the vast ocean behind.
