Oahu Family Photographer
Took a break this weekend and headed up to the North Shore to check out the waves. The Eddie had come and gone and, No, I did not go. I was very close, yet very far. The traffic to get there was horrendous, not to mention the crowds. We had family visiting from Canada and hung out at the rented beach house and streamed the Eddie on the laptop. It was still impressive even on a little laptop screen and I could only imagine how huge those gargantuan waves were. We still had big swells the following Sunday, but of course, nothing as monstrous as that Thursday during the Eddie. Lots of folks hanging out checking out the waves. I love the North Shore, put it on your Things to Do, Places to Visit bucket list.
I like to hang back and take pictures of people when I’m not working a photo shoot. This is usually my comfortable distance.
People just hanging out. Music playing, people enjoying. You just can’t help it, it’s a cool vibe.
Across the way toward the mountain, a boat parking in the front yard. I thought that was interesting!
