I think we had a free day one weekend with nothing on the schedule. We all piled in the mini van and ended up at Mokule’ia Beach in Waialua. It’s a beautiful, uncluttered beach at the end of the road and one of our favorites to sit and savor the vastness and serenity of the ocean. It tends to be really windy here, but it doesn’t deter us. I brought my film camera Canon EOS Elan 7 E Date 35mm SLR Camera (Body Only), loaded up with some Portra 400 film stock and sat back and enjoyed my family.
Every time I’ve been here, there’s always a mist in the air…. not to mention, I get chilly really fast and have to run for a sweater.
It’s a little out of the way of the tourist path, but it’s a wonderful place to take it all in.
