Rebecca and her family were leaving the island and she called me up for a photo session on her part of the island. They have lived here for a few years but it was time to pack up for the next adventure in her family’s journey. Her children called this place home and this is where they frolicked and played. Lanikai has sentimental value to her and she had to make sure we captured this beautiful place so that she can take it with her to her new home. I was happy to oblige and give her a piece of her heart.
As most parents with young children know, these little bundles of joy sometimes have their own agenda. This was the case for her two young keiki’s. I did my best to capture the family portraits and then I just sat back and just let everything happen naturally.
Rebecca’s mom was visiting and helping with the packing and they also have a wonderful nanny that will pack up and go with them on their journey…
…..the kids just love her and really THIS is family.
