Happy New Year’s 2013! Been so busy here with the holidays, but it was great to start off the year with the Minuk family. They came all the way from cold, cold Canada to frolic at the beach with me at Ko’Olina. A pretty large family with lots of little ones. Fun, fun, fun. You just gotta go with where the kids take you and hope that you can capture their spirit. I think they all did great, despite the challenges of just being a kid… Mission Accomplished: Spirit Captured. Check it out.

This whole week the Minuk’s have been visiting the weather has been less than stellar for vacationers. It’s been overcast, windy and raining. Thankfully on this morning, the rain stayed away for the most part, drizzling here and there. We took advantage of the rainbows when they appeared (as fast as we could!)
I had brought some parasols just in case we had to use them to protect us from the drizzle, but the kids loved them so much, we just went with it. I love how it all turned out.. such a sweet family.

The Disney Aulani Resorts, next to the Marriott Ihilani on O’ahu, Hawaii is a wonderful vacation spot for families. Located in Ko’Olina there are calm lagoons for the kids to play without the threat of waves and undertows. It is the perfect backdrop for your family beach photo’s. It’s my favorite place for family beach photography sessions.
