Jessica and her family were going to vacation on Oahu and she contacted me for a sunset shoot. I am always honored when my professional photography peers hire me to photograph their family. She is a family photographer in Washington, so look her up if you are wanting some fun family portraits. We met on a very muggy and overcast late afternoon. Clouds everywhere socking the moisture in. I didn’t think we were going to get any sun peeking through and I was right… no sun made an appearance. I know when you come to Hawaii, that is what you expect, a glorious sunset. Sometimes it’s just not in the cards and this was one of those late afternoons. But you know what? It was still a gorgeous sunset and the clouds were just gorgeous overhead. This was truly the first time I have photographed where we didn’t have a peep of sun, but the results of our photoshoot were equally stunning. See for yourselves…
