Large Family Group Beach Photographer on Oahu
It was a vacation of a lifetime for this family of 12 as they came to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of their mom and dad. We met on a beautiful late afternoon to capture the gorgeous glow of the lowering sun on this pristine beach. We were under the threat of rain that never came our way, but we were blessed with beautiful atmosphere nonetheless. Here are some highlights of our photo shoot together at the beach.
I always start my photo sessions with solo’s of the kids. I love their vibrant wrap around dresses. Pretty!
The older siblings also get solo portrait’s too.
Mom and dad of the bunch. It’s important to me to provide couples pictures. Once you have kids, it’s really a challenge to get nice photos of just the two of you.

When I work with multiple families, I always start with one family unit and then move on to the next family and continue with solo portraits of the kids. I just loved her curly hair!

When all the must have portraits are finished, we move on to family groupings. I have some in mind in my reference memory, but often times my families want particular groups which I happily oblige.
As the sun starts going down, I set up my lighting equipment and take these gorgeous family portraits, ocean, sky and sunset included!!
There were so many, many beautiful images to choose from . This lively group made it really fun and memorable for me. I hope it was memorable for you all as well.
